COVID-19: Keeping Our Patients and Employees Safe

At Allergy Clinic our top priority is keeping patients and employees healthy and safe while continuing to provide high quality medical care.  We have implemented the following measures in response to the pandemic:

  • Clinical staff are wearing surgical masks when interacting with patients

  • Frequent sanitization of exam rooms, waiting room chairs, front desk areas, and other high touch areas

  • Screening patients for signs or symptoms of infection for all in-person visits.

What is required of you during your visit to our clinic?

  • Please wear your self-provided, non-vented mask (see below for acceptable mask types) for the entire time in the office

  • No food or drink while in the office

  • Please attend your visit unaccompanied, or with one parent for minor patients

Please realize that any time you leave your home, there is inherent increased risk of exposure to COVID-19.  No amount of cleaning or disinfection can eliminate all possible exposure during your appointment or travel to and from our office.

If you’re looking for trusted, up-to-date information, we recommend visiting the specific coronavirus website of the CDC.

CDC Recommendations

How can you prevent contracting or spreading COVID-19?

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds. If you don’t have access to soap and water, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze. Do not use your hands.

  • Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Calling in advance will allow your healthcare provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility.  Do not come in for an allergy shot if you have any fever or respiratory symptoms different than your normal baseline allergy symptoms.

Please give us a call if you need to cancel or reschedule appointments.
